Every product sold by StarLight Labs is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. Nothing here is for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing here may be used for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.

That is not a formality at the bottom of a page. It is the basis on which we are allowed to sell these compounds at all, and it is the basis on which you are allowed to buy them.

The materials we ship are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They are chemical reference materials intended for in vitro study and laboratory work by people qualified to handle them.

Do not order from us if you intend to consume, inject, apply or otherwise administer these compounds to yourself, to another person, or to an animal.

We describe what a compound is and what it acts on. We do not tell you what it will do to a person, because we are not permitted to and because we do not know.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on this site should be read as a suggestion that any compound treats, cures, prevents or diagnoses any condition. If a supplier tells you otherwise about the same molecules, treat that as information about the supplier.

If you have a health question, ask a licensed clinician.

No statement on this site has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. None of these compounds is approved by the FDA for human use, and several are the subject of ongoing clinical study by others under conditions that do not apply to research material.

Some of the compounds we list are chemically related to approved medicines. That relation does not make our material a medicine, and it does not make our material interchangeable with one.

By placing an order you confirm all of the following:

You are at least 21 years old. You are buying for lawful laboratory research purposes only. You are qualified, by training or supervision, to handle research chemicals safely. You will not administer the material to any human or animal. You will not resell or redistribute the material as a drug, supplement or consumer product. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own country, state and institution.

We may decline or cancel any order, and we may ask for information about the intended research use before we ship. We do not ship to every destination.

Certificates of analysis are available on request. Email us with the compound and we will send the certificate for the lot you are buying.

Every lot is released against two independent results: a purity figure by high performance liquid chromatography, and an identity confirmation by mass spectrometry.

Purity figures are specific to a lot and change when the lot changes, so ask for the certificate that matches the lot you receive rather than relying on an older one.

Prices are in US dollars and cover the vial and its contents. Shipping is free, so the listed price is the price. Prices and availability change without notice, and the price that applies is the one we confirm when we take your order.

Bulk and repeat orders are quoted separately. Custom and compounded requests are handled case by case.

Title and risk pass to you when the carrier takes possession. An order is a purchase of research material, not a service or a subscription.

Shipping is free on every order. Items we hold in stock arrive in one to three business days. Backordered items take longer, up to a maximum of two weeks.

If anything in your order is on backorder we tell you when you order, not after. Orders ship tracked, in plain outer packaging with no product names on the outside.

Material ships lyophilized. In that dry form it tolerates the temperatures of ordinary transit, which is why a warm parcel is not a spoiled parcel. On arrival, store lyophilized material as directed on the label, and store reconstituted material cold and use it within the window appropriate to the compound.

We are not responsible for carrier delays or for parcels held or seized by customs. If a parcel never arrives, see the next section.

All sales are final, with two exceptions: if your order never arrives, or if we sent the wrong thing, we will make it right.

These are sealed research chemicals. Once material has left our control we cannot verify how it was stored or handled, so we cannot take it back and we cannot resell it. That is why the policy is what it is.

If your order does not arrive, tell us and we will either resend it or refund it. Get in touch once the tracking has shown no movement for five business days, or once the delivery window has passed.

If we shipped the wrong compound or the wrong size, that is our mistake and we will fix it. Send us a photograph of the vial and its label within 48 hours of delivery and we will ship the right one.

Outside those two cases we do not accept returns and we do not issue refunds. Please check your order carefully before you place it.

We collect what an order needs: your name, your email, your shipping address, and whatever you write to us. We use it to fulfil your order and to answer you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the carrier who delivers your parcel. Ask us to delete your details and we will, apart from the order records we are required to keep.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking.

Orders are not taken through this site. Email or call us with what you need and we will handle it directly.
